Walls Down
06:40
|
|||
Holy Spirit you will intercede
We are longing for Your endless grace
Heal injustice let Your mercy fall
Once indebted You have paid it all
You are the love that knows no bounds
A mighty power
That breaks walls down
Breaks walls down
Show us Your heart let Your glory shine
We are longing to reflect Your light
Heal the broken give us strength to stand
We’ve been set free let us be Your hands
Love is what we call You
It’s why we need You
It’s why we follow You
Your love is overwhelming
It’s all-consuming
For the love of God, I gave hate the cold shoulder
Maneuvered through the music in peace, the war is over
Got wiser and lower, more down to earth
Found i cared more than less about life’s worth
Shoot firs, ask questions later, law of the land
Take a stand, walk in peace, imprison your anger
Be a singer of love ballads, share your heart
That which is love inspired makes beautiful art
You’re a part of a movement, this is no track
One way in one way out, there’s no turning back
Now rejoice in that, my fellow kings and queens
Worship with hands high to songs that angels sing
Your best bring it forward hear the trumpets sound
And be embraced by a love that breaks walls down

What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss
To bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul,
To bear the dreadful curse for my soul.
When I was sinking down, sinking down, sinking down,
When I was sinking down, sinking down,
When I was sinking down beneath God’s righteous frown,
Christ laid aside His crown for my soul, for my soul,
Christ laid aside His crown for my soul.
To God and to the Lamb, I will sing, I will sing;
To God and to the Lamb, I will sing.
To God and to the Lamb Who is the great “I Am”;
While millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing;
While millions join the theme, I will sing.
Yellow-bellied and hard headed
Who would only sacrifice for applause credit
Lord knows we love the show, mask up here we go
Brim low windows to the soul tinted.
I'm so timid like I know "no limits"
Coach sit him down and teach him
This freedom and co-dependence got it
Freedom has now become something different I think I figured out
His grace produces change In my living truth even when we in doubt
So busy being busy it's remember me
I mean you, I mean we, I mean truth, I mean he
I mean them, I mean they all the things of the day
Food shelter bills is this the right or wrong way
Driving myself crazy with all of these hit and misses
Praying for peaceful minutes like peace is gained
Ashamed of losing the basics, I know what my faith is
Christ is lord in his love is where my grace lives
And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on;
And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on.
And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing and joyful be;
And through eternity, I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on;
And through eternity, I’ll sing on.
You love is amazing
It covers over me

Taking L's
01:45
|
|||
I've taken lessons from losses,
Taken lectures from bosses,
Taken life for granted to find it cost you.
Taken love and left it,
Learned that at the exit you can leave and then regret it,
Live a little, and forget it.
I've taken liberties, and lied when I was desperate.
Taken my light and hid it like coveting an investment.
I know I've taken less than I deserve, underpaid at work,
Overpaid with the Savior's concern.
I've taken long periods of time
And observed how you can be on the top
And just as quick kicked to the curb.
And if by now your interest isn't deterred
You can see how I'm taking L's
And replacing them with words.
I've taken left-overs to find I'm right-under fresh perspective
But it's hard when you're trying to fight hunger.
Must be the right one to, breathe rain and write thunder,
Insight wonder revelation hype and Christ coming.
The bright Sun will shine no matter how we hide from it.
Light cometh though I stumbled and dark times nothing.
Can stop the mouth of truth speaking, though I frequently adhere to words
I'm more often than not be receiving bites from them.
And the marks are vicious,
So I've taken lies and twisted them in attempts to cover up my scars in stitches.
I've taken lots of time aside to witness,
As if the Great Commission is a passive act that watches from the benches.
And from behind the fences,
I'd rather flip a tree than turn a leaf
It's hard to see how little efforts make a difference.
So I'm guessing this is, born from the insufficience,
But its in my lack that I find my riches.

Speechless
07:04
|
|||
No one can say we are a cursed and uncurable mess
For we are flesh of his flesh, blood of his blood
Living proof of Christ’s sacrifice, truth, and love
A Jesus fish or dove bumper sticker just isn’t enough
To explain God giving His only son for us
The thought renders me speechless
That Jesus would give His strength to overpower our weakness
The thought renders me speechless
That our place is not earned it simply is
In God is where our trust should live
We are children in His arms blessed by a touch on our heads
Spirit led, spirit fed, died to self undead
Full speed ahead He is our hiding place
Our protector from trouble,
surrounding us with songs of deliverance and grace
Songs of deliverance,
You sung in my ear
A love song just for me
Now a love song, a love song, I’ll sing to you
Speechless, speechless when You’re all around me
Speechless, I can’t speak with Your arms around me
'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus
Just to take Him at His word
Just to rest upon His promise
Just to know “Thus saith the Lord”
O how sweet to trust in Jesus
Just to trust His cleansing blood
Just in simple faith to plunge me
'Neath the healing cleansing flood
Jesus Jesus how I trust Him
How I've proved Him o'er and o'er
Jesus Jesus precious Jesus
O for grace to trust Him more
Yes 'tis sweet to trust in Jesus
Just from sin and self to cease
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest and joy and peace

Let the old man fall away
Let him fall into his grave
And let the new man rise up in his place
Because Jesus called his name
We are not cars and clothes, jewelry, and homes
We are precious, not worthless bags of bones
Infants to full grown we are children of God
His creation, like the sea, moon, and the stars
We are healers and leaders, teachers, and lovers
Fathers, mothers, providers, sisters, and brothers
I've discovered my purpose found I'm not worthless
The inside counts, dead and gone adds up the surface
Know what my worth is I will not be purchased
Put a not for sale sign right where my soul lives
Do more than give and take for goodness sake
Stop sleeping on reality and stayed awake
Bypassed the fake, searched out what's real
Because I fell apart doesn't mean I can't rebuild
Comfortable being still, I enjoy the quiet
Write down all my wrongs and clear my conscience
Fight for my right to lay down for no one
My revolution has nothing to do with guns
It's the right way or none, do or don't get it done
Face off with everything from a challenge never run
Come undone in my art, follow my heart
Make sure to finish everything that I start
Tear apart any foundation built by another man
If there is where God has me, there I'll stand
I was chained and wretched
Enslaved to my transgressions
Had my own objections
Until Jesus called my name
I was blind and weary
Locked down by pain and worry
Running circles in a hurry
Until Jesus called my name
I would have been so finished
Sin would keep on winning
But it’s his plan from the beginning
For me to call his name
From his initiation
We worship with elation
From Sinners to holy nation
When Jesus called my name
I’m just a sinful man
Have mercy on me
Have mercy on me

Every New Day
02:39
|
|||
Every new day when I wake up
Every new day I look to You
Every new day I want to live my life for You
Your mercies are new every morning
Your mercies are new every day
Your mercies are new every morning
And I thank You Lord for each new day

Gospel
02:36
|
|||
At this moment I'd like to send out a reminder
It is of the utmost importance misses and kind sirs
You see, we as a people seem to lose the meaning behind words
I speak of one – Gospel
This word we should all know very well and most definitely have heard
In this as a close friend to me
Eye to eye we see and passionately believe in three
Jesus lived, he was crucified in three days he arose from his grave and was seen alive
Crown of thorns, pierced hands and pierced feet
He bled profusely, to the heavens he weeped
Gospel, the true definition of blood money
Be no ones dummy
Believe not in vain for vanity is a fool’s gain
Played by those that do not know themselves
And have masked their shame
You have been redeemed so receive
Stand firm and revisit his word
For when your faith lacks confidence
Let it be reconfirmed
I am no apostle
It is through time that i have learned
My place isn’t earned it simply is
In me He lives
By the grace of God I am
A father, a husband, a son, a lover and friend
This is not in vain I will say it again
By the age of 25 I was told I would cease to live
Gospel, the true definition of blood money
Be no ones dummy
Believe not in vain for when Jesus was slain
He paid the cost for our sins
So whether you receive the gospel from me, she, they, or them,
My friends please listen
What matters most is that you believe
Believe

How deep the Father's love for us, how vast beyond all measure
That he should give his only son, to make a wretch his treasure
How great the pain of searing loss, the Father turned his face away
As wounds which mar the chosen one, bring many sons to glory
Behold the man upon a cross, my sin upon his shoulders
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held him there until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life; I know that it is finished
I will not boast in anything: no gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ; his death and resurrection
Why should I gain from his reward? I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart: his wounds have paid my ransom

Riverview Music Lansing Charter Township, Michigan
We like to see our music as varied as the weather here in Michigan; sometimes there's synth beats, sometimes there's banjo, sometimes it's rock, and there's a decent chance someone will say it's too loud. But whatever the style, we hope our music can be used to respond to who God is and what He has done. ... more
