Stone by stone it’s building, we will be called ahead, To see if we will firmly stand, In Abraham’s shadow, an altar to withstand, To represent our trusting hands. Oh healer great Redeemer, hear our feeble prayer, We’re moving forward, we walk with your commands, To see the strength that we will have, To each their struggle, a whisper to turn back, With fear and worship we will act. We offer, all we have, it’s by your strength we stand, We will obey, we trust in all you’ve said. We find your promise, we will not hold back, On Isaac’s altar we will stand, We are to follow, your words have made us right, We stand on the mount of sacrifice.

The Curse 04:15
There is a curse that I can’t seem to cure, Chained to a past full of shadows and fear, I keep on walking not sure if I’m moving away, Could a creator remove all the shame, I am now different, no I’m not the same, Fill up my mind, you have promised to give me the strength. I’ve forgotten that, I am cleansed from my old sin, I’m now looking to the day that he will come, I will live, grace has given me the day, I am new and I am changed because of Him. Jesus would speak and his words were alive, He would destruct the deceptions and lies, I’m called away from my past and into his light, Could a creator remove all the shame, I am now different, no I’m not the same, Fill up my mind, you have promised to give me the strength. 2 Peter 1:9
3.
We Are Not 05:00
Stop all this rebellion, Oh what horror when we worship things created, End all this rejection, How could we ever think idolatry would save us, Judas we know full well, of betrayal, Peter we know full well, of denial. On that day, from sin we tried to hide, When the blood on the ground ran from him as he died, And in darkness, that stream found us, And our cursing and hatred was covered by love. Stop all this destruction, Sin only promises to leave us devastated, Leave this desolation, How could an idol ever overtake our savior
4.
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart; Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art Thou my best Thought, by day or by night, Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word; I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord Thou my great Father, I Thy true son; Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one. Riches I heed not, nor man's empty praise, Thou mine In -heritance, now and al - ways Thou and Thou only, first in my heart, High King of heaven, my Treasure Thou art. High King of heaven, my victory won, May I reach heaven's joys, O bright heaven's Sun! Heart of my own heart, what-ever be - fall, Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

Finding Me 04:09
Beautiful is the light that chases darkness Finding me and leading me to life Desperate and alone, you found me, Your love is unending, it keeps pulling me back Your name endures from first to last You have redeemed me, from darkness I came Made me new, erased my blame You overcame my weakness with your grace, Erasing death from deep within Desperate and alone, you found me I would be lost without you
6.
You’re beyond time, you created it, No dimensions to obey, Farther than where, I can reach, Yet you dwell with me, Outside of what I can imagine, Yet closer than I’ll ever know, I can’t comprehend you, I’m Overwhelmed and at your feet, Still you know my heart, You rescued me, You’re before and after, Your hands created all I see, Still you know my heart, You’re all I need I can not see, all your work, Done from beginning to end, It’s unchanging, your promises, You’ve set in motion. Eternity, is in our hearts and we, Will sing your praise, will sing your praise
7.
Christ our Redeemer died on the cross, Died for the sinner, paid all his due. Sprinkle your soul with the blood of the Lamb And I Will pass over you. Chiefest of sinners, Jesus can save; All He has promised, surely he’ll do; Wash in the fountain where sinners can bathe And I’ll pass over you When I see the blood, Of my holy one my wrath shall be quenched, my judgments be through When I see the blood of my only son Yes I will pass over you Judgment is coming, all will be there. Each on receiving, justly his due Hide in the saving, sin cleansing blood, And I Will pass over you.
8.
We are to follow, together we will We are to follow, in your strength, in your truth You brought us here, we are not alone, Together we’ll follow you home Oh how we forget, That you pulled us from the grave, We could only wait for death, But you came to us, you came to save, We believe, we believe, we are the church, the body of Christ, We believe, we believe, together we stand, we are unified, Oh how we forget, That you bought us with your blood, We could only be unclean, But you came to us, you came to love
9.
I simply wondered, what all the flowers in the field would do, they faded away I watched and waited, as permanent buildings crumbled too, they couldn’t stay Forever and ever, your word stays the same Forever and ever, we will sing your praise The grass underneath me, started to turn all shades of brown and gray, it withered away The trees overhead, kept shaking all of their leaves away, they twisted and swayed Fade away, fade away, some day this world will fade away and I’ll be with you. You’re all that remains.

Jerusalem saw judgment, Rebellious will, The faithful city wandered, laden with guilt, The thieves would chase the promise, of might and gold, The Righteous one redeemed them, justice foretold Carry us away, all will be made right… Isaiah spoke to Judah, of fire and light, The glory of God’s coming, his holy sight Protection on Mount Zion, the coming King, On it a place of refuge, a song to sing.

about

Riverview Music Lansing Charter Township, Michigan

We like to see our music as varied as the weather here in Michigan; sometimes there's synth beats, sometimes there's banjo, sometimes it's rock, and there's a decent chance someone will say it's too loud. But whatever the style, we hope our music can be used to respond to who God is and what He has done. ... more
